URGENT CARE ASSOCIATION

Patients and Payers Are Looking for Your Commitment to Quality

As we continue to navigate the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Urgent Care Association has made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel the Accreditation Workshop that was scheduled to take place September 16-17, 2020 in Warrenville, Illinois.

The  Accreditation team is developing new ways to resume operations while adapting to a heightened focus on safety and infection control and prevention. It is our top priority to ensure the safety of your patients, your team, and our staff, which requires modifications to our current logistics for in-person activities to continue. We understand the stress COVID-19 has placed on most of you so our team is working behind the scenes to facilitate and simplify this process. We appreciate your patience and hope you understand we are all in this together.

In the meantime, UCA is constantly working to better understand and provide clinical and operational resources to our members regarding COVID-19. Please click here to learn more.

Again, thank you for all that you are doing and please feel free to contact us with any questions! Your support is deeply appreciated.

Together, we are #UrgentCareStrong

Attendees at the Accreditation Workshops in 2018 and 2019 were informed, enlightened and satisfied:

"I learned quite a few new ideas, tips and tricks on how to successfully operate a small to large business while maintaining strong safety/compliance.Having the ability to bounce thoughts off of other management, doctors and UCA Board members allows one to think outwards.  And being able to go through audits and walk throughs makes it easier for us to be prepared." ~ Aaron Martin, Market Leader, CareWell Urgent Care (November 2019 attendee)

"This conference really gave me the tools I needed to understand the details and importance of the accreditation standards. But more importantly, as a new urgent care, it helped me to identify weaknesses, better organize our operations, and give our patients the best possible care." ~ Tamara Moise, DO, Co-Founder & Lead Physician, Big Apple Medical Walk-In Urgent Care, PLLC (August 2018 attendee)

"Wonderful introduction and overview of the accreditation process.  All of the presenters were very knowledgeable and supportive to all participants.  I was given a lot of resources and though it's overwhelming,I feel very encouraged to start the accreditation process."  ~ Jillian Stratton, Administrator, Kinder Pediatric Urgent Care (November 2019 attendee)

"The workshop has been very valuable to me with gaining understanding of the accreditation process. The information was very direct and helpful on every level. I feel 100% more confident than I did before with implementing these processes and communicating with our senior leadership team regarding the importance of our UCA Accreditation."  ~ Bryan Fleming, MBA, Quality & Patient Safety Manger, Doctors Care (August 2019 attendee)

"This workshop has been wonderful.  All of the presenters engaged us with energy and passion.  The information shared in the workshop was not only valuable, but enlightening." ~ Ryan Sadier, Market Leader, CareWell Urgent Care (November 2019 attendee)
